A global ambassador for Asian classical music in the 20th century, he has shaped orchestras like the Israel Philharmonic and New York Philharmonic over six decades 59.

A Century-Old European Legacy

Founded in 1928 by Vittorio Gui, this Italian ensemble is Italy’s oldest permanent opera orchestra, earning acclaim for its “velvet tone” and dramatic intensity 69.
