In November 2025, violin superstar Daniel Hope, along with the Menuhin Festival Orchestra, embarked on a China tour, performing successively in Zhuhai, Nanjing, Shenzhen and Beijing. In this performance, Hope not only interpreted Vivaldi’s classic “The Four Seasons”, but also presented his globally renowned subversive work “Reconstituting the Four Seasons” with great force. Through a musical dialogue spanning three hundred years, he brought a soul-stirring auditory feast to domestic audiences.

A concert, double “Four seasons”
The first half presents Vivaldi’s original “The Four Seasons” created in 1725, paying tribute to the Baroque classic.
The second half features Max Richter’s new version of “The Four Seasons” reorganized in 2013, presenting a contemporary auditory experience.

The legendary album is reborn live: The album “Reconstituted Four Seasons” performed at this concert was recorded by Daniel Hope in collaboration with composer Max Richter. The album swept the charts in 22 countries around the world that year and won the German Classical Echo Award, earning the title of “a record born for the 21st century”.
Seven years after a reunion in China: Daniel Hope brought “Reconstituted Seasons” to China for the first time in 2018. This tour marks his return after a seven-year hiatus, with a brand-new partner – the Menuhin Festival Orchestra.
The “National Music Team” : The members of the orchestra are all selected from top Swiss orchestras, such as the Zurich Philharmonic Orchestra and the Basel Symphony Orchestra, and can be regarded as the “National Music Team” of Switzerland.
International Stage and Partners: The orchestra regularly performs on world-class stages such as the Vienna Musikverein and the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg. The list of soloists he has collaborated with is star-studded, including Jonas Kaufman, Cho Sung-jin, Katia Bunyatishvili, and others.
